Senior Test Engineer Electric/Electronic

Responsibilities:

Development and integration of electrical and electronic systems
Creation and maintenance of requirements, system models and specifications
Definition of interfaces, communication protocols and system boundaries
Development of a simulation environment, for e.g. estimation of bus loads, latencies
Conducting tests, error analyses andvalidation of electricalsystems
Support with integration and error analysis at the component, system and architecture level
Support in planning various test activities
Creation and execution of test cases based on customer requirements
Identification and analysis of errors that occur
Close collaboration with developers and test management
Creation of test reports and presentation of test resultsto managemen

Skills and experience:

Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or communication engineering
Experience with model-based system engineering (e.g., with SysML, UML)
Familiarity with automotive or industrial standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
Knowledge in hardware and software interface developmen
Programming with Python
Experience with common standard protocols in the mobility industry, e.g. LIN, CAN (OPEN, XCP),
Ethernet and UDS
Experience with tools such as MATLAB, CAMEO, Enterprise Architect, PREEvision or comparable
architecture tools
Experience with common testing tools (e.g. Vector)
Creation of test concepts, test cases, test requirement.
