Senior Test Engineer Electric/Electronic

Responsibilities:

  • Development and integration of electrical and electronic systems
  • Creation and maintenance of requirements, system models and specifications
  • Definition of interfaces, communication protocols and system boundaries
  • Development of a simulation environment, for e.g. estimation of bus loads, latencies
  • Conducting tests, error analyses andvalidation of electricalsystems
  • Support with integration and error analysis at the component, system and architecture level
  • Support in planning various test activities
  • Creation and execution of test cases based on customer requirements
  • Identification and analysis of errors that occur
  • Close collaboration with developers and test management
  • Creation of test reports and presentation of test resultsto managemen

Skills and experience:

  •  Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or communication engineering
  • Experience with model-based system engineering (e.g., with SysML, UML)
  • Familiarity with automotive or industrial standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
  • Knowledge in hardware and software interface developmen
  • Programming with Python
  • Experience with common standard protocols in the mobility industry, e.g. LIN, CAN (OPEN, XCP), 
    Ethernet and UDS
  • Experience with tools such as MATLAB, CAMEO, Enterprise Architect, PREEvision or comparable
    architecture tools
  • Experience with common testing tools (e.g. Vector)
  • Creation of test concepts, test cases, test requirement.
