Senior Test Engineer Electric/Electronic
Responsibilities:
- Development and integration of electrical and electronic systems
- Creation and maintenance of requirements, system models and specifications
- Definition of interfaces, communication protocols and system boundaries
- Development of a simulation environment, for e.g. estimation of bus loads, latencies
- Conducting tests, error analyses andvalidation of electricalsystems
- Support with integration and error analysis at the component, system and architecture level
- Support in planning various test activities
- Creation and execution of test cases based on customer requirements
- Identification and analysis of errors that occur
- Close collaboration with developers and test management
- Creation of test reports and presentation of test resultsto managemen
Skills and experience:
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or communication engineering
- Experience with model-based system engineering (e.g., with SysML, UML)
- Familiarity with automotive or industrial standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
- Knowledge in hardware and software interface developmen
- Programming with Python
- Experience with common standard protocols in the mobility industry, e.g. LIN, CAN (OPEN, XCP),
Ethernet and UDS - Experience with tools such as MATLAB, CAMEO, Enterprise Architect, PREEvision or comparable
architecture tools - Experience with common testing tools (e.g. Vector)
- Creation of test concepts, test cases, test requirement.
