Responsibilities:

Experience: 3+ Yrs 
Location: Ahmedabad/Pune/Remote

• Assist with the tasks of the Project Safety Manager and independently derive tasks to the system level.
• Support the creation of normative work packages at various levels, including management, hardware, and software.
• Adapt processes and activities at the system level.
• Coordinate and implement all normative work products at the system level, including the creation or evaluation of hazard analysis and risk assessment, the Functional Safety concept, and the derivation of functional and technical safety requirements for components, including acceptance criteria.
• Provide information for the safety case at the system level.
• Create the “release for production.”
• Ensure compliance with hardware metrics at the system level for all safety objectives, depending on the ASIL.
• Ensure that safety objectives are ultimately met
• Escalating project-based safety issues or anomalies, as needed
   

Skills and experience:

• Over three years of experience in Functional Safety (or similar standards) methods and analysis, particularly regarding ISO 26262, parts 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9
• Experience with development processes (e.g. automotive)
• In-depth experience and knowledge of applying systems within the specific domain (e.g., ADAS, Steering, System Architecture)
• Experience with development of connected customer functions, such as system architecture
• Experience with requirements engineering & management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the project's underlying systems and functions
• Proficiency in safety analysis (e.g., FMEA, FTA)
• Strong moderation and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team
