Role:

As a Junior Engineer, you will support the process engineering team in the design, specification, and documentation of industrial process plants. You will gain hands-on experience in detail engineering, including piping design, and contribute to the development of modern production systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and mass/energy balances
• Support the design of unit operations:
  • Mixing, wet milling, spray drying, rotary kiln, dry milling
• Contribute to piping design:
  • Line list preparation, pipe routing concepts, support coordination, and isometric drawings
• Prepare and maintain equipment datasheets, specifications, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with senior engineers on equipment sizing, material selection, and process optimization
• Participate in HAZOP reviews, safety assessments, and regulatory documentation
   

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial process design or plant engineering
• Familiarity with:
  • CADISON (preferred)
  • AutoCAD Plant 3D
  • COMOS
  • AVEVA PDMS / E3D
  • AspenTech / Aspen Plus
• Basic understanding of piping systems and process equipment
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
