CAD-Designer for Fiber Composite Structures (e.g. CFRP)
Experience: 4-7 Yrs
Software Skill: CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX
Location: Pune
Responsibilities:
- Development of lightweight structures made from fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP)
- Propose innovative solutions for technical problems
- CAD Design of CFRP Components and Modules, including layup definition and optimization
- Design for Manufacturability of FRP components in Prepreg-Autoclave, RTM and RIM technology with various fiber types, like carbon fiber, glass fiber etc. and various resin types
- Attendance of design meetings to discuss solutions for technical issues
Skills and experience:
- Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable qualification
- In-depth knowledge of the material-specific properties and manufacturing processes of fiber-reinforced plastics
- Extensive experience designing FRP components in CAD
- Good knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX
- Proficient knowledge of English, written and spoken, as well as very good knowledge of common MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
