Experience: 4 - 10 Yrs

Location: Ahmedabad/Pune

Responsibilities:

• Perform optical simulations and analysis using Luci_d Shape/SPEOS for interior and exterior lighting components (eg: headlamps, tail lamps, ambient lighting).
• Interpret customer requirements and convert them into simulation models to evaluate optical performance.
• Design and optimize optical components including reflectors, lenses, light guides and diffusers.
• Work closely with CAD teams using Catia V5/V6 to ensure correct integration and geometry development of lighting systems.
• Support the design validation process through correlation of simulation data with lab testing results.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including product design, electronics, mechanical and manufacturing.
• Provide technical documentation and support for design reviews, DFMEA and customer meetings.
   

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 – 10 Yrs of experience in the automotive or lighting industry with hands on simulation expertise.
• Proficient in Lucid Shape or Speos for optical design and analysis.
• Good understanding of light distribution, beam pattern analysis and optical material properties.
• Working knowledge of Catia V5/V6.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
