Role:

We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience operating production workloads on AWS, including AWS Neptune on the production scale. This role is focused on building, automating, operating, and optimizing enterprise AWS infrastructure with direct ownership of reliability, performance, and security.

The engineer will be responsible for production-grade Neptune architecture, operations, and integration within AWS environments.

Responsibilities:

AWS Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

• Design, build, and operate AWS infrastructure for enterprise production environments
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch
• Implement high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
• Design production-ready AWS Neptune architectures aligned with availability, performance, and security requirements
• Set up, configure, and operate AWS Neptune clusters in live environments
• Manage Neptune lifecycle including upgrades, backups, snapshots, and recovery
• Design network architectures for Neptune include VPC placement, subnet strategy, and security controls
• Implement encryption, IAM-based access, and monitoring for Neptune workloadss
   

CI/CD & Platform Integration

• Integrate Neptune infrastructure changes into CI/CD pipelines
• Support safe rollout of infrastructure and configuration changes
• Work with application and data teams to coordinate releases impacting Neptune

Security, Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement AWS security best practices across infrastructure and Neptune environments
• Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting for Neptune and supporting AWS services
• Participating in production incident response and root cause analysis
• Maintain operational documentation and runbooks for Neptune and AWS platforms

Cost & Capacity Management

• Monitor Neptune usage, scaling behavior, and cost impact
• Apply cost optimization strategies without compromising performance or stability
• Support capacity planning for future data growth and query volumes

What We Are Explicitly Looking For

• Engineers who have owned AWS platforms and Neptune clusters end-to-end
• Strong delivery and operations mindset
• Practical experience in production environments over theoretical knowledge

Certifications [Nice to Have]

• AWS Devops Certified
• AWS solution architect associate
• Terraform Associate (HashiCorp)
