Android AAOS Developer (BLE & API)
Responsibilities:
- Develop an API for Android Automotive OS (AAOS) that reads health data from smartwatches via
Bluetooth Low Energy (GATT). - Implement BLE client services in Android and AAOS.
- Build a standardized Health API (e.g., heart rate, stress level).
- Collaborate with backend and business teams to make the API available for third-party systems.
- Testing in the AAOS Emulator and on reference hardware
Skills and experience:
- Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Experience with Bluetooth LE / GATT profiles.
- Hands-on experience with Android Automotive OS or Android System Development.
- Experience with AIDL / Bound Services.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of automotive standards (Car HAL, Car API)
